More Magnificent Madness Ahead!
Here's a Preview of What to Expect This Week at Misty Oracle Grove.
Welcome, my Fabulous Fiends and Sensationally Sinister Strangelings! I am Merrick, your otherworldly host, threading through the veils of reality to present a preview of the second week’s wonders at my House of Horror, Oddities & Other Madness! (Fear not, for I have indeed summoned the link to our ethereal and esoteric emporium this time!).
Allow me to offer just a glimpse of the fiendish delights that await you at Misty Oracle Grove:
Terrorific Tuesday: Venture into the dusky enclave of our Cobweb Cafe for an insightful review of an upcoming horror novel. Concoct your preferred elixir, whether it be a dark roast coffee, blood orange tea, or a marvelously macabre Bloody Mary, and prepare for a chilling journey through historical fiction starring an iconic figure from American currency.
Surreal Thursday: Reality blurs into nightmare as we delve into my true crime archives for a tale More Frightening than Fiction, featuring one of the most notorious serial killers in history. The true extent of his heinous acts remains shrouded in mystery to this day.
Sinemastalgia Saturday: Join us for our inaugural Sinema Obscura retrospective, celebrating the sovereign of cult cinema—a film that has kept the curtain raised for over four decades and continues to cast its spell on audiences worldwide.
Saturday marks the start of Pride Month. Sorry about the above graphic—-most likely you’ve already astutely observed, that neither Vivica nor I are experienced graphic designers.
While Vivica may have mixed feelings about Pride Month, we had a chat and came up with some fabulous ideas for posts. Being the queerest of the queer around here, we can’t help but view everything through a queer lens. Throughout the year expect queer-themed posts here and there but in June expect more! If you’re conflicted about Pride Month or don’t relate to queer themes, stay tuned for other content that may interest you.
If curiosity beckons you, step into our House of Horror, Oddities & Other Madness. A real scream and a howling good time are guaranteed! My apologies for the puns—they’re a tradition around here, after all!
